Get a Dam Passport!

Award Description

The Get a DAM Passport program awards $175 scholarships to undergraduate students with financial need in their first year at OSU to obtain a first-time U.S. passport. Scholarships cover the cost of U.S. passport fees and photos. With the receipt of this scholarship, students may open up new doorways to international academic experiences worldwide.

Our office directly supports passport grant recipients to study abroad through access to a self-paced Canvas course, coordination with OSU GO, and application help for scholarships.

This scholarship was initially funded by one-time grants from the Institute of International Education and an OSU Internationalization Grant. In 2024, we received a grant from the Women's Giving Circle and matching funds from the Office of the Provost to continue offering this scholarship to eligible undergraduate OSU Beavers. This year, Get a Dam Passport is supported by contributions from individual donors,  the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences, Business, and Liberal Arts, as well as the Honors College and the INTO OSU Joint Venture Internationalization Fund. Thank you to all our generous donors!
